I've just now discovered a perfect breakfast combo for every type (functioning/recreational/lazy) of stoner... some of you may already be on the morning cannabis diet, but I am new to this.  So it all started when I stopped by Trader Joe's about 2 weeks ago and came across Nature's Path Organic Hemp Granola cereal, which is derived from the hemp plant (male cannabis plant).  I wanted to experiment with something new, plus I did a bit of research and found that this hemp based cereal contains: organic rolled oats, organic evaporated cane juice, organic soy oil, organic brown rice flour, organic flax seeds, organic hemp seeds, organic oat syrup solids (organic oat syrup solids, tocopherols), sea salt, organic molasses, soy, wheat, peanut, and tree nuts.  Not only is it all natural and tastey, the nutritional value of this organic hemp cereal is astounding; with 600 mg of Omega-3 fatty acids and 1800 mg of Omega-6 fatty acids you can't start your day off any better (or smarter!).  Honestly, I notice that I am more aware of my surroundings while at the same time feeling a greater sense of clarity, so I guess I feel more intelligent when I start my days off with a bowl and a bowl (so to speak).  Since I've got this new Trainwreck and delicious hemp seeds, I guess I'm a strong supporter of the benefits of cannabis based products :).  Cheers, be rational and understanding please... if you want.

Omega-3:
Omega-3 fatty acids are considered essential fatty acids. They are essential to human health but cannot be manufactured by the body. For this reason, omega-3 fatty acids must be obtained from food. Omega-3 fatty acids can be found in fish, such as salmon, tuna, and halibut, other marine life such as algae and krill, certain plants (including purslane), and nut oils. Also known as polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), omega-3 fatty acids play a crucial role in brain function as well as normal growth and development. The American Heart Association recommends eating fish (particularly fatty fish such as mackerel, lake trout, herring, sardines, albacore tuna, and salmon) at least 2 times a week.

Omega-6:
Omega-6 fatty acids are considered essential fatty acids (EFAs). They are essential to human health but cannot be made in the body. For this reason, they must be obtained from food. Together, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids play a crucial role in brain function as well as normal growth and development. EFAs belong to the class of fatty acids called polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs). They are generally necessary for stimulating skin and hair growth, maintaining bone health, regulating metabolism, and maintaining reproductive capability.
