The law of conservation of energy explicitly states that energy cannot be created nor destroyed. So curiously speaking, where does our energetic self go after life?
Using the law of conservation of energy as a foundational explanation for what happens after death seems very viable to me. Though I have not thoroughly researched this subject (yet), I find an alarming sense of security in the idea that our energy will assume the embodiment of another organism after fully utilizing it's current form. Think about it; if energy is simply recyclable and never leaves our atmosphere, it must consistently assume the role of an organism or linger in thin air (like ghosts) after it's body can no longer support it. *Thought: if I were to eat a couple of PB & J sandwiches (carbohydrate overload) and then use that energy to lift weights at the gym, where does the energy go after the weights have been used?
So then I question our population growth, and how we seem to be overcrowding the Earth at a fervent rate. This brings me to the idea that we, as the most dominant species in the Earth's animal kingdom, rob other animals (particularly the less adaptive) of their lives so that we can excessively procreate. How is this possible? I (and others) have noticed that as many animal populations are shrinking, our population seems to be showing little signs of slowing down (anytime soon at least). This has led me to theorize that we, as dominant humans who seem to have been delegated Godlike powers, are being provided with the (former) energy of weaker (on the food chain) life forms because our existence is the most integral to global development and existential understanding.
At this moment in time, this is nothing but a mere possibility. Over the course of my life, I hope to further my understanding of the universe and our existence by means of research and open mindedness. I'm on the quest for truth, and will remain on the quest until my mind forgoes it's guided path.
