... got to see my Baby (and we are going to be heading to Nashville in 2 weeks), met her papa (Mr. Favati, and though I was quite intimidated by the man I actually managed to handle myself pretty well and we ended up conversing about simple things because most of his knowledge is over my head... but he is a cool guys to be around, a warm/welcoming aura), consequentially stayed at the Waldorf-Astoria hotel, ran 9 blocks in 3 1/2 minutes on my way to giving salutations to Maritz and Natalie at Blooms cafe on 40th and Lexington (shattering my old record of about 6 mins), picked up 15 pennies and 1 dime (I believe Crista outdid me though), hung out with Mallika Rao (one of Crista's good friends)- us 3 ate Mexican and I ate a shrimp burrito, I drank a Pacifico beer (underage- I just made a parentheses within a parentheses), talked about smoking cigs and their not so pleasant side effects and sex, drank Cardemum tea- as well as secretly sipping a Yueng Ling cause it was BYOB but he asked for I.D.'s what a bitch- at a Hookah bar that charged $40 for one hookah/one flavor/one tea, met Neal- Mallika's friend who is a cool dude, he thought of numerous ways for me to get into this bar called S.....but we just ended up just walking in... and he bought Crista and I a Miller Light while I gave him one of Crista's Yueng Lings (fair trade)- and all 4 of us hung out until 3 am, drank a Caramel Machiatto Espresso and argued over whether it was coffee or not almost all day (she is right though), walked a total of about 200 blocks, crossed the Brooklyn Bridge with Crista (something we have been wanting to do for a year up until then), took pictures for these British girls on the bridge about 5 times, ate delicious Indian food with Crista and Nat courtesy of Mr. Favati (it has 4 or 5 branches in Singapore!), walked around an event that was taking place in the Grand Ballroom at the Waldorf-Astoria (which as awkward), ate a Chocolate Covered Pretzel and Crista ate a Blondie in Greenwich Village), left Monday at 4 pm but got back (to the Waldorf at 49th) from our long walk from the Brooklyn Bridge at about 3:15 then left to bid Nat and Maritz farewell at 3:20 and arrived at their café at about 3:27 to only chill 'till about 3:33 cause I had to leave so that I could make it back to the lobby in the Waldorf to be with Crista at 3:37 so we could hop in a cab at 3:43 and make it to 34th and 7th in time for my bus)-for the first time...
