Ye, N(O) yoR(K)!

Blu is about to release his first major album (if issues with Warner Bros. are resolved), No York!, in a couple of days... so, while we're waiting, he decided to [hand out free copies at Rock the Bells and] stream the entire album so that we can all indulge for free.  The Find Magazine and I had a brief FB comment exchange about our thoughts on the album...



Oh yeah, the question I was asked was in response to my statement, "fuck expectations".

Suffering Succotash, what "Shenanigans Pt. 1"!

With help from the indelible Mr. Flying Lotus, Thundercat sheds some pretty illuminative colors on this soundscape.  If you are a jazz fusion head, like my self, you will undoubtably enjoy this bit.  Oh yeah, don't forget to snag their collaborative album titled, 'The Golden Age of Apocalypse'.
